A Dream

a dream tree (1)

Sometimes you have a dream and you know that it is real. I recently had a vision of how some of the Authentic Living work would develop over the next few years, and I’d like to share that with you here.  Perhaps part of its coming into being is to simply write it down.

This was the dream: I saw a large piece of land that hadn’t really been used for a long time. On this land were a number of buildings. The main house was a simple beautiful retreat centre and meeting place, where anyone sincerely seeking to live more authentically and with greater connection to the truth of life could come. Here we would have retreats, classes and individual meetings, but people could also simply come to stay for a longer period of time, while healing and growing into the reality of their lives, in a loving and truthful environment. The land itself was being worked: vegetables were growing, there were chickens roaming freely, and there were a number of polytunnels full of salad, aubergines, chillis and ripening tomatoes. Part of the healing process would be to take part in helping to grow the food, which we ate everyday in the sanctuary. We were also growing food to share through cooperative ventures, so that we were contributing to the ordinary life and benefit of those around us, by providing the highest quality food as cheaply as possible. I’d love for us to wake up enough as a species to agree a few simple ways of working towards some easy common goals, one of those ways being that everybody gets fed.

I don’t know what country this wonderful place of healing was in, and I don’t know how to bring it into existence either practically or financially. But it does feel like something we really need in this world. So I offer it up to the highest truth with all the love in my heart. If you know about this kind of thing and would like to discuss these ideas with us, or help us practically realise this vision, I’d love to hear from you. If you would like to contribute to the growth of this idea and the spread of this work financially, you can help through our donations page.

I hope you are very well and thriving, and living from the centre of your life.

Love

John
