New Pieces on The Arab Spring – The Journal of Commonwealth Literature

June 22, 2013 § Leave a comment

A note from Dr Claire Chambers:

The Journal of Commonwealth Literature, has just published its June issue, and it’s one that we are particularly proud of. It’s our first to feature creative writing, in the form of some original poems on the Arab Spring by John Siddique (in the Editorial). More creative writing will follow in some JCL issues in the future. There are also fascinating articles, including ones by David Farrier on Mourid Barghouti and Abi-Zebra Harry-Ward (not her real name!) on Indian indenture in Peggy Mohan’s Jahajin.

You can read the whole issue online or download to your computer or device to read later.
