Music Makes Our World Go Round

May 29, 2010 § Leave a comment

Of all the things in life besides literature, I think music is the thing that often keeps my heart beating. So I thought we’d share what we’ve been listening to over the last couple of weeks at the Siddique home unit.

Black Sabbath – Dehumaniser, Mob Rules, Volume 4
Rainbow – Rising
(Basically a big tribute to the awesome Ronnie James Dio)

Crystal Castles – Crystal Castles II
Peter Gabriel – Scratch My Back
Shakespeare’s Sister – Stay
Balil – lots of tracks from different compilations
Mozart – Fugue String Quartets
Scorpions – Virgin Killer, Tokyo Tapes
Vaughn Williams – 5 variants of dives and lazarus
Jowonio – The Meat and Bread Variations (sad but we love our own ep)
Aphrodite’s Child – 666
The Enid – Fand (Stand Version)
The Rolling Stones – Exile On Main Street
Led Zeppelin – Bombay Orchestra Sessions
